LET'S GET FUR FARMING BANNED!
Hi,
On Tuesday 25th we will be having a 'Ban Fur Farming in Ireland' demonstration at the Department of Agriculture.
We will be handing in our petitions (which have over 5000 signatures on them!) and will hopefully get to discuss the issue with a representative of the Department.
This is a very important event, so we are asking that everyone please do their very best to attend. Especially at the beginning of the protest, as we are expecting press coverage - so we want to look as powerful as possible!
WHEN: 12.30 - 2.30pm, Tuesday 25th March
WHERE: Department of Agriculture, Kildare Street, Dublin 2.
There are 6 fur farms in this country - so for the 150,000 mink and 400 foxes that get killed on these farms every year, let's show the government that the people of Ireland want this barbaric industry banned at once!
See you Tuesday!

Beth and Brian Willis lost their white Samoyed, called Kara, 12 years ago and Swedish Lapphund, Penny, in 2002. After seeing a picture of Princess Diana wearing a dog fur stole at Crufts, they collected thousands of dog hairs from brushes and carpets. The pair said the his and hers dog memorials were "warm and waterproof". Mr Willis, who worked for Pickfords Removals for 27 years, wears his doggy jumper into town every Saturday to do the weekly shop. The 73-year-old said: "They are extremely warm and pretty much waterproof. I've always got a sweat on by the time I get from the bus to the shops." Mother-of-three Mrs Willis first used the fur of Kara, to knit her husband's sweater in 1990......."

Fur farming is banned in GB ,it should be banned in Ireland too.
Is the welfare of the animals farmed in question? If so then focus on that.
Legalised animal cruelty everywhere is now being addressed thanks to people like you( and me)
