EU Debate Roadshow Hits Tralee

The state-sponsored "Forum on Europe" is hosting a debate on the EU
treaty, this Tuesday 11th March.

Venue: Brandon Hotel, Tralee @7.30

Speakers: YES: Alan Dukes, NO: Martin Ferris/Sinn Fein

***Anyone concerned with the EU treaty's implications for
Militarisation and Privatisation would want to attend this one***

According to the Forum:

"In advance of the referendum on the Treaty, the National Forum On
Europe is hosting a series of public meetings around the country, with
prominent guest speakers both for and against the Treaty.

The guest speakers at the Co Kerry event will be former Fine Gael
leader Alan Dukes who will be arguing in favour of the Treaty and Sinn
Féin TD for Kerry North Martin Ferris whose party is campaigning for a
No vote.

The Forum's independent Chairman, Maurice Hayes, said that a
significant part of the Forum's work is to bring the debate on Europe
to people in their own areas. "What we are aiming at is for you, the
people of Kerry, to hear both sides of the debate, and also - if you
wish - to have a good dialogue with our speakers".'
