Photographic exhibition - The Defenders of the Spanish Republic exhibition
The excellent exhibition of photographs of veterans of the SCW by Pablo Vazqaez Borragan, with extensive biographical information on each veteran by Harry Owens, continues its tour.

The Defenders of the Spanish Republic exhibition of survivors of the war and underground struggles is now in Galway for January, in the City Library, Augustine St, with a meeting for film, music and talk by Harry Owens being organised on Thurs 31st January from 6.30pm till 8pm.

This follows a very good December exhibition in Waterford City Library, which had a meeting with over 60 relatives, colleagues and even ex-pupils of Brigaders present, organised by Waterford Library staff. Sean Kelly, of UNITE, (he was also one of the key people in organising the Waterford Memorial) and Harry Owens spoke.
