"The developing EU military-industrial complex"

The talk will deal with the growing militarisation of the EU and the increasing involvement of the Irish army in the EU "Battle Groups and other military commitements. Corporations bases in Ireland are involved in the manufacturing as well as reasearch and development of military technology. Under the current re-jiged "Constitutional" treaty the Irish people will have to increase our military spending as directed by the EU.
