RTE Radio 1 presents Human Rights Drama Season featuring plays written for Amnesty International

RTÉ Radio 1’s upcoming Human Rights Drama Season featuring plays written for Amnesty International Irish Section will air at 8pm on Sundays during October. The plays will be followed by a panel discussion chaired by Myles Dungan.

This year’s Human Rights Drama Season will feature four plays; Mountain Language by Harold Pinter, with a cast that includes Jeremy Irons, Liam Cunningham, Nick Dunning, Amy Huberman, Deirdre Donnelly and Andrew Bennett, and world premieres of dramas by Roddy Doyle, Frank McGuinness and Eugene McCabe.

Two Men Meet by Roddy Doyle - 8pm, Sunday 14 October
The Rights of the Childby Frank McGuinness - 8pm, Sunday 21 October
Don’t Askby Eugene McCabe - 8pm, Sunday 28 October
