70th anniversary of Guernica to be marked by commemorative mural in Belfast
Bob Doyle, the last Irish Brigadier from the Spanish Civil War, will be in Belfast to unveil a mural to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the fascist bombing of Guernica.
The event takes place at the Northumberland Street/Falls Road, junction, Belfast, at 12 noon on Sunday 5th August.

Bob attended the Anti-fascist football competition, then spoke at a social in the Roddy McCorley society rooms, before 'unveiling' the murals to the Brigadiers and to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the fascist bombing of Guernica.
