This Saturday, 28 August Socialist Youth is hosting a forum for young people from 1pm in the Imperial Hotel on Eyre Square.

1pm Debate with Young PDs - Poverty, Global Warming, Health crisis... Is the capitalist "free market" to blame?
3pm - Che Guevara and the struggle for socialism in Latin America today.

All welcome!

Yes.

The one in Dublin I was at was attended by people of all ages... although the average age was probably in the early 20s. It was a really good debate on Greens, and a few Labour types came along too. At one stage Labour said [paraphrase] "socialism is not where people are at... most people look towards parliament, therefore there is no point in talking about socialism as it won't happen and we should instead put efforts into elections... so join Labour!"
