Green Drinks - Thursday 26th July

Each month people all over the world, are meeting up at informal sessions known as Greendrinks.

Now Greendrinks has come to Dublin, and you're invited! Anyone interested in and/or working on improving the environment, thinking green, and who would like to socialize should come along.

It’s an opportunity for the activist to chat with the office worker, for the visitor from overseas to meet with locals etc.

This is the first Green Drinks in Ireland, following a model that is already working in 122 countries. (see www.greendrinks.org)

Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organising network. These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have made friends, developed new ideas and even found employment.

In other cities there is a lively mixture of people from parents, students, academia, office workers etc. and according to Greendrinks International, it's a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new interesting contacts.
