Jump To Comment: 1The Iraqi police released the five detainees this afternoon (18 June)who have been arrested by US forces the evening of June 7 (Mohamed Karim, Ali Hussein Mohamed Mahmoud, Hussam Salim and Abdul Amir Saleh. Samir Adil was leading the receptionists along with Said Nima, Subhi Al-Badri, Abdel Hadi Alfatlawi and Jassim Alwan members of IFC Executive bureau.
The detainees said that a number of them had been beaten and threatened by the Iraqi police at the sight of US forces. They also stated that US forces had surrounded the central headquarter, while Iraqi police had searched the headquarters, hit and insulted guards of the head office.
