International Peace Walk "Towards a Nuclear Free Future" will hold a public meeting at 8.30pm at the Buswells Hotel in the Boardroom on Molesworth St, Dublin 2
On May 13th an International group will begin walking from Dubln, begining at the GPO on O'Connell St at 9.30am. Before we begin walking we are holding a public meeting to discuss the reality of the effects of the Nuclear Industry.
Australia is playing a key role in the supply of Uranium to the nuclear industry and the EU is putting the pressure on to supply more. Ireland was a key player in establishing the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty and has been leading the struggle to close the Sellafield reprocessing plant. it is time for Ireland to stand up again and led the way by declaring itself a Nuclear free Country.... Please come to this public meeting and learn more about how we can work together from different countries to create a Nuclear Free future.
