Hands Off Venezuela Public Meeting in UCD

There will be a talk about the occupied factory movement in Venezuela this Wednesday 18th of April at 6pm in room 3 in the Student Centre

The talk will include the showing of a documentary about the struggle for workers' control in Sanitarios Maracay. At the moment the workers are running the factory through a workers' council.

The speaker will be Francesco Merli, from Hands Off Venezuela campaign (HoV).

The talk aims at showing the differences in class consciousness and activism between workers who are explicitly challenging capitalism and the labour movement we are more used to, which, in normal times, only aims at wage bargaining, particularly in the richest countries of the world
