Transco, parent company of Advantica, which carried out the government’s last safety review into the Rossport pipeline, have been hit with protests in Wales over a gas pipeline project.
The pipeline in question is to bring liquefied natural gas from the Middle East across Wales and England.
Two protest camps have been established along the pipeline route.
Transco is the privatised natural gas utility company in the UK.

In August 2005 Transco were fined a record 15 million sterling (22 million in Euro) for breaches in health and safety regulations leading to the deaths in a gas explosion of a family of four in Lanarkshire in 1999.
