I'm afraid that as far as media coverage is concerned this whole campaign is fizzling out. I just checked the RTE, Irish Times and Irish Examiner websites. Not a single word about it. A few weeks ago they were full of it. Even on the Indymedia site there are hardly any threads about the Shell campaign. A few weeks ago there were dozens and you'd have thought the Revolution had started. Meantime the Shell workers in Mayo are going about their work normally and with little hassle. This campaign is doomed.

November 10th is the international day of protest against Shell, and also the day we remember the passing of Ken Sara wiwa (I know I've spelt his name wrong, so apologies)

It is hoped that a mass mobilisation at Rossport will take place on that day.

So I would urge all people to come down, even if it means taking a day off work. It would be good to truly show the people of Rossport just how mch support they genuinely have around the rest of the country!

Well here here to the media for ignoring you lot. Theres enough serious matters for the politicians and people of this country to attend to than having to listen to people on the TV shouuting "we are all goin to die down here" Or one of your lot refusing ambulance services she clearly did not deserve in the first place.

Cowley, the void on the horizon should be enough to let you know its your political career.

Lord you didnt last long.

For many years now , Decades , there exists a secret State Organisation called the SIB.

This secret Organisation existed within the Irish Army and most probably within the Gardai itself.

A bit like an Irish CIA.

Q.1 Is the so called Sgt.O'Reilly / Rossport rough handler a member of this group?

Q.2 Does anybody out there have any information about this secret State Organisation?

A disturbing feature of the Corrib Basin dispute has been gross misrepresentation of the Shell to ea campaign by the Irish sensationalist press. This warping of the public perception of the true nature of the dispute, does a grave disservice to Irish democracy.

I participated recently in one of the daily protests in Rossport, and can say that the “Shell to Sea thugs” and the technophobic troglodytes of Rossport (whose protest is run by paramilitaries, surprise, surprise!) are, in fact, ordinary decent citizens who have studied how a Shell-led consortium proposes to process the Corrib Basin reserves onshore and the likely impact of such on their community.
