A planning meeting for an anti-war street theatre event

On Saturday 7th October at 1pm, we are holding a planning/preliminary rehearsal meeting for a street theatre event originally pencilled in for October 21st, to be performed at several locations across the city centre.

As an idea arising from the Connolly Festival earlier this year, we are anxious to get as many people involved as possible. This is an opportunity for people to show their support for the anti-war movement by getting involved in a peaceful, non -confrontational manner, which will hopefully serve to underline our arguments about the necessity of US Military Out Of Shannon, and about the complicity of Ireland and the UK in the illegal war in Iraq.

We're meeting at 1pm at 17 Ely Place, Dublin 2 (just off Merrion Row). If anyone has any questions/suggestions, please feel free to contact me at any time.
