This is hardly a pressing issue ... if a few lads in the North want to risk their personal freedom by planning bombing campaigns for the RIRA, Continuity IRA, 32-county etc against the wishes of the majority of the nationalist & republican 'communities' then that's their own affair ... there are real issues of national oppression in the world today and the wolfe tones ballad brigade have no place in those struggles ... grow up lads ... we really don't give a monkeys.

I would be all in favour of a picket - if the aim is to throw away the key and keep these people locked up where they will do no one else, including themselves, any harm. There is no significant let alone majority support in teh nationalist community for firebombs in Newry shops or the railway line to Dublin. What gives these guys the right to say 'fuck the lot of you' - we are bombing anyway? I think straightjackets might be in order.......

Its thanks to "good natives" like you, Realist, that the British were able to misrule half the world for so long. It was men and women like those in Maghaberry today that broke the back of imperialism. They never had help from your sort. I doubt if they ever really expected it.

No criminals are POWs - Irish patriots are.

And you are no socialist - real socialists always support armed struugle against imperialism, they do not support the efforts of the imperial power to criminalize resistance.

While agreeing that these prisoners are Political, I must say that their comrades on the outside are carrying on a futile war. What do they hope to achieve by bombing the working classes of Newry out of their jobs when suicide bombers bombed the heart of London and didn't change anything in regards Government policy.
Their attempt to keep a war going which has cost countless lives, both Volunteers and civilians and which has been sold out by SF is looking more and more pathetic in the light of the upsurge in Suicide bombings world wide.

They have turned the struggle for Irish freedom into a joke.
