Make the éirígí website your homepage.

The éirígí website has recently been expanded to include a News and Events section which is being updated on a regular basis. The news section covers stories of local, national and international interest as well as giving updates on the development of the campaigns which éirígí is involved in. The events section carries information regarding upcoming events such as protests, meetings and fundraisers, etc.

The development of the éirígí website will take place on a continuous basis with the further expansion of the news section, the growth of the existing archive section, and the progression of existing and future éirígí campaigns.

éirígí seeks to create a link-based one-stop news website which highlights stories of interest to those who share a Socialist Republican perspective and which do not receive the attention they deserve from establishment media sources. If you wish to recommend a news story to be linked to from the éirígí website, you can forward the link to news@eirigi.org

In addition to news stories, if there is an upcoming event which you would like to be promoted on the éirígí website, you can forward the details of this event to news@eirigi.org

Visit the éirígí website at www.eirigi.org to view the latest news and events from Ireland and around the world.

Their position on the anti-war / anti-imperialist stuff seems sound enough going by the story they put up regarding the raytheon thing in Derry. The link is below. I got one of their 1916 Proclamation posters through my door in the Revolutionary Republic of Ringsend a few days ago (feck it! If the langers can have the 'Peoples Republic' I don't see any harm in the good people of Ringsend having one) Fair play!

Once more our political 'leaders' are content to make Ireland a playground for imperialism. We must appear to others as the most spineless nation on earth. Enough is enough. It's time for an end to the harbouring of murderous imperial armies in Ireland.
