Irish hunger-strikers remembered....

........by RSF : between 1917 and 1981 , twenty-two Irish republicans died on hunger strike .

On Saturday 12th August next , a private bus will be departing from outside the old McBirneys/Virgin Megastore building on Aston Quay in Dublin at 4.30pm to journey to Mooncoin in County Kilkenny , where republicans will be assembling at the Technical School , at 7.30pm , to honour the memory of those that died on hunger strike during this on-going conflict .
The private bus will be returning to Dublin after proceedings . Fare is €20 per person .
