On Saturday, July 8, 2006, highlighted the ongoing POW Protest in Maghaberry. Geraldine Taylor of Republican Sinn Féin phoned in, fresh from the RPAG White Line Picket in Belfast to describe the situation and to be interviewed, plus Patrick Williams of Cumann na Saoirse Náisiúnta/ National Irish Freedom Committee was in the studio to inform the North American audience on how they could help the prisoners.

The episode also offered coverage of a NYC taxi driver who'd recently wrote a book and of course some commentary and phonecalls about World Cup soccer.

The Irish POW Protest coverage was of course the most important and informative. The two guests were valuable and offered important insight.

This episode IS available online on the WBAI archives.
