Jump To Comment: 1 2racism has nothing whatsoever to do with illegal immigrants holding our government hostage over their highly questionable claims for assylum. Please don't muddle the issue by playing the race card. You people - ultralefties are using this to garner brownie points. The situation is quite simple. The church doesn't want the Afghans in their sanctuary and the Garda should forcibly evict them - after which time - due process should run its course. If they have legitimate grounds for appealling against returning to their war torn homeland then so be it - if not then deportation should be in order.
I don't think we want them there, actually I think they are the ones who have put the most pressure on the church to wash their hands on the whole thing. And as for holding the government hostage? wow! that was easy. But the only person I saw squirming on telly tonight was mcdowell.
