Is homophobia endangered in Cork?

Cork is holding its first ever #######, Bi, Gay and Transgenderd Pride March on Sunday 4th June 2006, starting at Bishop Lucey Park ( the Peace Park") at 3pm.

It will be led by Miss Alternative Cork, Lucy Fer, there's a 450 foot Pride Flag, lots of floats, an open top bus and a rainbow dragon street puppet that takes seven people to carry it. One of the floats will be a Limo with two Brides in it, - (2 women who recently won an Equality case in Co. Cork).
The first ever Pride Marches were held in the US in 1970, to mark the 1st anniversary of the Stonewall riots in 1969 -a fightback by drag queens ##### and other queers which triggered a thirty seven year long (so far) wave of liberation around the world
