Counterpunch: Christian Peace activists contextualized

A lot of Irish activists in that list!

Ingmar Lee writes a round-up style piece for Counterpunch in which he points out the harsh sentences and scare-mongering publicity directed at eco-activists in the USA and contrasts it with the soft-pedalling of the much more effective Pacifist direct action movement. Ciaron O'Reilly's name appears twice in the list. Tim Hourigan, Mary Kelly, Eoin Dubsky all get a mention too.

Take a look at this latest report on the newswire though to see the level of harrasment that peace activists meet with in Ireland.

Ingmar Lee's hypothesis of eco-activists been targetted more severly may hold true in the US but doesn't in Ireland.
