it has been a little over 100 days since Hariri a lebanese billionaire died along with several of his employees in a car bomb attack in Beirut in the early hours of Saint Valentine's day.
He left to his few sons business concerns worth approximately 2 billion euros in various sectors from primary (construction and quarrying) to services,
= the most popùlar telly stations.

His heir and son, Saad Hariri has claimed a victory today in the long expected Lebanese polls.

Already financial markets are bracing themselves for the effect this will have.

The Euro has already slightly depreciated.

The polls follow the funeral of Samir Qasir, an anti-syrian journalist who was murdered in a car-bomb on thursday last. Since a car-bomb killed Hariri, there have been over 11 car-bomb attacks in Lebanon, in contrast to less than 5 last year.

The four rounds of regional voting are the first in 30 years to be held without the presence of Syrian troops, which withdrew from Lebanon in April.

Last Sunday, anti-Syrian candidates won all 19 seats in elections in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
where 9 of the 12 seats were taken by the Hariri martyr list headed by the son and heir to thedead billionaire "father of lebanon".

However, pro-Syrian candidates are expected to win almost all 23 contested seats in this second round in the south (which borders Israel).
