I would like to use this opportunity to talk about the policies and the alternative of the WPIraq to the current political situation in Iraq and about our strategic goals.



I would like to start with a brief review of our party’s positions on various issues since its establishment in 1993 because it will help me to review

the events of last decade and the roles that various political forces have played in Iraq. It will also help me to look at the position of the left in Europe, and to give my assessment on what interests this left is serving"
