Another Anti-War protest in the heart of Hollywood
Pictures from the Hollywood November 11th protest against the continuing occupation of Iraq organized by ANSWER.
This protest gathered about 200 people and occurred at a highly visible location: the intersection of Hollywood/Highland and adjacent streets. This is the center of the "Walk of the Stars" (the sidewalk is decked out with recessed plaques bearing the names of famous TV, radio, etc celebrities) right beside El Capitan movie theater and Mann's Chinese Theater (basically the street in the modern version of the Italian Job when the armored van is captured by this street being partially blown up).
This is a major tourist location and the protest was thus highly visible although there are low numbers of tourists at this time of the year.
As always support from the denizens of tinsel town was extremely high.
