Two gardaí found not guilty of Mayday assault

category dublin | crime and justice | other press author Tuesday October 19, 2004 16:35author by Anthony Report this post to the editors

Two gardaí were acquitted of assaulting a participant in the Reclaim The Streets party held in May 2002. It's interesting to note that two years later, despite extensive video evidence of garda brutality not one garda has yet been convicted of any crime.
