quite a dude. Alain Robert.
Alain Robert a.k.a. "Spiderman" climbs things (freestyle) using only his bare hands without rope or safety precautions.
Yesterday he climbed the Tour Montparnasse a 59 storey tower in Paris.
from a Saudi newspaper-
Alain Robert took less than 45 minutes to climb the 210-meter-tall (693-meter-tall) office building, gripping its metal girders on his way up. At the top, he waved to a small crowd that had gathered at the bottom, some shouting "Allez, Alain!", or "Go, Alain!"
Robert, 42, who is renowned for climbing without ropes or other equipment, has also scaled the Eiffel Tower and more than 30 skyscrapers, including New York's Empire State Building in 1994, and the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 1997.
Wearing a shirt carrying the message "No war," Robert also scaled the 47-story headquarters of oil giant TotalFina Elf outside Paris in April 2003 to protest the war in Iraq.
