You have to dig hard at the SBP Polls to get these figures as they cloud the issue by pushing hard at hiding it under the fact that 72% saying economy is dependent on US Goodwill. Thats US goodwill - not Bush good will btw. People can make the distinction even if SBP can't.

Why didn't they ask the simple question - do you support the US Occupation of Iraq?

Probably because it would have shown that the vast majority of the Irish Electorate are opposed to it vehemently including the Fianna Fail Grassroots which is a major reason why their support in the upcoming local/euro elections has plummeted to 32/33% range.

So all hands on deck for the Bush visit. We're the majority (here and in the World) and we have a right to make our feelings known. McDowell and his Armed Police on the street for mayday as a trial run may stop some of us but it sure as hell will not stop all of us
