Many more were turned away by the Irish Stasi working hard to bring in the Irish part of the global police state which we see rapidly unfolding over the past year all around us. Many roads leading to Cork such as the M7, M8, N25 and others had Garda checkpoints denying the constiutional right of people to travel more than 5km. Hundreds Turn Up to Cork Anti Lockdown Protest on Sat 6th March Despite the media trying to smear and criminalize in the public mind anyone who attends an anti-lockdown protest, this week hundreds of brave citizen turned up to the Cork protests. The Garda wasted more money with heavy handed policing with an extensive presence for what was always going to be a peaceful demonstration attended by people who are deeply concerned with the loss of all our collective civil liberties and freedoms. But the hallmark of all totalitarian regimes is a heavy handed police presence with no expense spared and a compliant media that parrots regime propaganda. As part of the prepartory worker the bigger businesses less affected by lockdowns were clearly given false information about potential trouble and went to wasted expense and effort to board up windows. Clearly this was a prop for the media to present as "proof" that there would be trouble. The government and media were gutted that there was no trouble so they went out of their way in their reportage of the protest to run headlines with the word "arrest" in it desperately trying to imply there was some kind of trouble. The Irish Examiner on Sat ran with the headline: "Six arrested on day of Cork anti-lockdown protest" to smear the protesters. But just like all the manipulation around Covid death figures, when you actually read the article, 4 of those arrests were not even made in Cork City but in other counties. The two arrested in Cork were because they were outside their 5km. So it was nothing. All that mattered though is that they got the word "Arrest" in the same headline as the protest. That isn't reporting. It is propaganda, pure and simple. The speakers at the protest gave evidence that the lockdowns are not needed and simply do not work. Ivor Cummins back in January presented yet another hard hitting analysis demolshing any case for lockdowns and is well worth watching and can be found here: https://youtu.be/p_vAQyVlXzU. One speaker, Paddy Bullman stated what anyone paying attention for the last year knows with regard to the media and the government "manipulation of the figures from the outset", and "the only thing they wanted to stop you spreading was the truth". Other speakers addressed the massive effect on mental issues and of course devastation of small businesses. The Left has relentlessly tried to label anyone who does not follow government orders as being far right. And to address this one of organisers Mr Ó Cadhla stated: "far-left nor far-right" Some coverage and pictures on twitter. Check quickly before twitter removes them. And while we are at it, the Garda have been busy arresting the Cork street performer Gruby. How many Garda were involved. At least 13. Heavy handed policing. This is one of the "people" arrested mentioned in the Examiner article. Gruby actually had nothing to do with the protest. So more lies and manipulation.
